We had the vegetarian menu, which was absolutely delicious and definitely the best Chinese restaurant out of China that I’ve been to. Very diverse and freshly prepared meals. The staff was super lovely and attentive and took care of our vegetarian diet. Will come back!

Absolutely delicious! Tastes just like the stir-fried beef dishes I had back in Hunan. The flavor is rich, the beef is tender, and the spice level is perfect. Full marks — highly recommended!

Every single time I'm over in the UK visiting from New Zealand I make sure to visit Hunan! The best Chinese in town and simply the best I've ever had. Located in the heart of China Town, Manchester, blink and you would miss the small entrance. Totally unpretentious with warm and welcoming staff. The food and service is truly wonderful. It is always busy, but they always find us a table and the quality of the food never ever disappoints.

Best Chinese food in Manchester. We had the crispy shredded beef in Cantonese sauce, with soft fried noodles and egg fried rice and it was just absolutely amazing. Service is great as well. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back again

Fantastic food! Great service from the friendly staffs too. The stir fried pork with peppers was amazing, full of flavor and had the perfect balance of spicy and savory. The dry pot potatoes was full of wok hey/ smoky flavor. Every bite was an explosion of flavours. The mapo tofu was a bit different than what I am used to as there was a hint of sweetness to it, not sure if this has anything to do with the fact that it's a Hunan restaurant instead of Sichuan. But this does not mean it was not good, just different.

Great meal for Valentines Day. Staff were very friendly and attentive, service was quick and food was exceptional. Lots of choice to suit many tastes and really delicious meals.
